Seven seas. Seven sins. Seven days of the week. And now Seven as the theme for first ever Write Tribe Festival of words.

And for this my theme is going to be- “Seven things about the first person I get to see each morning”. Each day a new person, a new set of seven things and of course more insight into my life 🙂

Lets set some rules:

1. No person to be repeated even if he/she is the first person to be seen that day.
2. A picture is must
3. If you are just in case featured, do enjoy the limelight
4. Leaving a comment is compulsory (wishful thinking 😀 )

So what are we waiting for? Let’s get started!

And so today I was going to office and on way I see two girls zip past me on a scooty. Now the rule is I should see the person. So technically I had not seen them. I knew who they were of course. But suddenly I saw a glimpse of one of them in the mirror. And the person to be featured got decided.
Now for all technical purposes I want to assure people, I saw my husband the first but as he is already featured we are not going to talk about him again. (Read rule no.1)
But who is this dainty darling? One and only apni Punjabi Kudi Ishleen Kaur!
Ishleen Kaur
Seven things about her!
1. The first thing I noticed about her was this colourful leather bag she was carrying along with the pink ballerinas and of course her characteristic maggie curls. I had instantly told myself, “Delhite” 😀 😀
2. She is a fabulous cook. And as it is some serious confession time, many occasions when I too brought home cooked food I thought no one would eat mine because hers will be the centre of attraction on table 😛
3. She is a rather fit girl. I would say bordering on being extra thin. And recently she joined gym which surprised all of us. The reason was- “I need to put on some weight around my arms”. Yes thats it! Only around her upper arms side she needs to put on some weight. As crazy as it sounds its true!
4. A science student who happened to want to complete her engineering finally went for psychology honours. Surprisingly what was initially not a planned choice is now also one of her most favourite decisions.
5. What is strange is that in this zip zap zoom world, Ishleen has a very spiritual side to her life. A practising card reader, she recently went to Bangalore for her second level of art of living. Some of her card reading sessions (on certain facebook groups centered around such things) have been found to be very accurate for many people.
6. She is also my bedmate 😛 😛 Now put all the ideas to rest. Everytime my husband goes on a tour I always bring her home and I have had some of the best post marriage post night galpal chats when she has been around.
7. She works with me in Tata Motors in HR department. And despite the clash of the hr with the rest of the world 😛 😛  she is one of my closest friend in office. I find myself always very comfortable in telling her anything that comes to my mind.
Let’s see who we find tomorrow? We might stumble into interesting people or perhaps boring. But then each will have seven things we need to speak about! The morning awaits us!!
